This Privacy Policy explains how Color Card Pro (“we”, “our”, “us”) processes information when you use the Chrome extension, our website, and the related activation and payment services.

What we collect

We follow a strict data minimization principle: we do not collect information we do not need, and we do not keep information we do not need to keep. We only process the minimum information required for sign-in, Pro verification, showing your current account, payments, and customer support.

Google account information

When you sign in with your Google account in the extension or on the website, we process your Google account identifier, email address, displayname, and profile picture. We use this information only to confirm who you are, bind Pro to the correct account, and show the current signed-in account back to you so you can check it.

Purchase and payment records

When you purchase Pro through Paddle, we keep a small amount of information needed to process your order and provide after-sales support, such as the order number, payment status, purchase or refund time, amount, and the billing name or email provided by the payment platform. To bind the purchase result to the correct account, we also use your currently signed-in Google account information during checkout.

Temporary authentication data

To help the extension and website recognize the same account during sign-in, page jumps, and purchase completion, we may briefly process the minimum login verification information needed. For users who have not purchased Pro, we do not keep your information long term just because you signed in once, and we clear it as soon as possible.

Local browser storage on the website

The website stores a small amount of local information in your browser so it can remember whether you are signed in, show your current account, and refresh your status after purchase. This information mainly stays on your own device. When you sign out, the information expires, or you manually clear your browser data, it will be removed.

How we use this information

We use this information only to confirm your identity, check whether your account has Pro, show your current account, complete purchase activation, handle refunds or after-sales support, and prevent abuse. We do not use this information for advertising, user profiling, or behavior analysis.

What we don’t collect

We do not collect your browsing history or the content of the web pages you are viewing. We do not use the colors you view, create, or copy in the extension for advertising analysis. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or third-party telemetry tools in the extension. We also do not store your bank card number, bank account number, or other full payment details. We do not take part in your payment flow directly; payments are handled by Paddle.

Third-party services and processors

We rely on the following third-party services to provide sign-in, hosting, payment, and refund functionality:

Google

Used for Google sign-in, token validation, and account identity confirmation.

Google Cloud / Firebase

Used to host our service and store the minimum information needed for sign-in, authorization, orders, and after-sales support.

Paddle

Used for payment processing, tax handling, order notifications, and refunds.

Data retention & deletion

We try to keep information for as short a time as possible. For users who have not purchased Pro, we do not keep your information long term just because you signed in once. We only process the minimum information needed during sign-in, status refresh, and necessary security handling, and then clear it as soon as possible. For Pro users, we keep the minimum information related to account binding, orders, refunds, after-sales support, and compliance, mainly so we can confirm your Pro entitlement and help you with support issues.

If you want your personal information deleted, you can contact us. Please note that if you ask us to delete the records needed to prove and restore your Pro entitlement, we may no longer be able to restore your Pro access later.
